He has been committed to public service his adult life and is currently serving as a Pennsylvania State Representative, representing the 149th Legislative District in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and as the Democratic chairman of the Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee. Prior to his election to the State House, Tim worked with some of the most prominent and influential legislators in the region and country.

Tim serves on the Board of Governors for the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, a commissioner on the Pennsylvania Commission Crime and Delinquency and Vice Chairman of the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board.  He also serves as the Democratic Chair of the Arts & Culture Caucus, the Bio Technology/Life Sciences Caucus, and the Brain Injury Caucus.
