Deanna Williams works on a variety of municipal, zoning, and land use matters for clients in Delaware and Montgomery County. Before joining Kilkenny Law, Deanna gained invaluable experience from a judicial clerkship under the Honorable Chief Judge Judith L. Wheat of the Arlington County Circuit Court in Arlington, Virginia. Additionally, Deanna worked in the Labor and Employment Law units of the Defense Information Systems Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, gaining experience in legal writing and litigation, including but not limited to discovery, opinion drafting, and settlement negotiations.

 

Deanna earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Tuskegee University and her juris doctor from Howard University School of Law. In law school, Deanna served as the Vice President of the Howard University Public Interest Law Society, Business Manager for the Charles Hamilton Houston Moot Court Team, Membership Intake Coordinator Co-Chair of Epsilon Sigma Iota Sorority, Inc., and as a Student Attorney in the Child Welfare and Family Justice Clinic.
