Work History

Colleen J. Marsini began her legal career as Judicial Law clerk for the Honorable Joseph Smythe, President Judge, Emeritus of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.  Following her clerkship, she served briefly as a Public Defender in Delaware County before joining the Office of the District Attorney of Delaware County.

As an Assistant District Attorney, she prosecuted more than 500 jury trials to verdict.  She was later appointed Head of the Child Abuse Unit and in 1995 was awarded Prosecutor of the Year by Women Against Rape of Delaware County.

Colleen then entered private practice, focusing her practice on employment and age discrimination law, before becoming General Counsel for a privately held company serving in that capacity for ten years.  In addition, she has served as the County Solicitor for the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health, while acting as Chief outside Counsel to a non-profit organization and regional Healthcare Company.

With her extensive legal background, Colleen brings a unique blend of transactional, litigation and in-house corporate experience to her work with the firm’s clientele.  In addition, she was elected to Upper Darby Township Council in 2010, where she served the residents of the 5th District.

Ms. Marsini also received her Certified Trial Attorney designation in 1994 by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a result of her extensive success as a trial attorney.

Outside of the office Colleen is an avid golfer, member of the LPGA amateur golf association and volunteers at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with her rescued therapy dog. Colleen has two grown children, an attorney and a musician and lives in Drexel Hill with her husband, also an attorney.
