Work History

Lisa Kane Brown serves as Of Counsel to Kilkenny Law and is a high conflict custody attorney who focuses her legal talents on youth in the law related issues. Practicing in Bucks County, Montgomery County and throughout Pennsylvania, Lisa helps children, families and school districts navigate complex legal issues and disputes.

A wide range of issues impact school districts in Pennsylvania, including student discipline, administrative hearings, and special education. Lisa supplies representation at due process hearings and related appeals.

Further, Lisa takes pride in assisting school districts to educate all staff on the intricacies of providing special education programs in accordance with federal and state laws. Lisa helps schools, and their staff, take proactive steps to avoid litigation by understanding and following the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and its recent re-authorization, Section 504.

Since 2007, Lisa has been a volunteer with the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project.
